Overview:
Under general supervision and following established policies and procedures, performs professional assignments requiring general use of application of concepts, practices and techniques.

Schedules and coordinates the flow of work between or within departments to expedite production or data is used as a basis for materials acquisition. Responsible for supporting program master schedule, detailed material plans, reconciliation of finished product and its scrap and material attrition. Other primary responsibilities include requisitioning and coordinating flow of materials to the shop floor and coordinating final delivery of finished product.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
10% - Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine specific program material requirements.
25% - Using Oracle system, plan, requisition, track, control and release all MBOM materials necessary to support manufacturing schedule.
30% - Develop and maintain detailed material plans from program requirements and MBOM to determine time-phased material acquisition and production floor schedule needs. Monitor functional progress against established schedules utilizing established MRP methodologies.
25% - Using written and verbal communication skills, coordinate and maintain material acquisition and fabrication status with other functional departments. Coordinate the flow of work between or within departments to expedite production or as a basis for materials acquisition.
5% - Coordinate shipment/delivery of end items with other required departments.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
5% - Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and three (3)years production control and/or materials planning experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Computer skills are required (Microsoft Office-Excel & Word). Administrative skills such as filing, keyboarding and general office.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U. S. Security clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
